Web Analytics

Most companies run analytics that counts visits but cannot say how many enquiries the site produced. That is not a detail: without proper measurement decisions are guesswork and ad spend is optimised blind. I set up GA4, Tag Manager and conversion tracking so the numbers match reality.

What I set up

  1. 1An audit of what you have. Very often events turn out to go nowhere, or to be counted twice.
  2. 2Google Tag Manager and GA4 with Consent Mode v2, so measurement survives the cookie banner.
  3. 3The events that matter: form submissions, phone, email and WhatsApp clicks, checkout starts.
  4. 4Marking key events, so enquiries appear as conversions rather than sitting in a list.
  5. 5Links to Google Ads and Search Console, so it is visible what brings money.
  6. 6Microsoft Clarity for recordings and heatmaps, where numbers are not enough.

What audits usually turn up

  • Events pushed to the dataLayer with no GA4 tag in the container to forward them — enquiries are not measured at all.
  • GA4 loaded twice, once directly and once through Tag Manager, doubling every page view.
  • A form firing a 'purchase' event with a value when nobody paid, putting revenue that never existed into the reports.
  • A key event left unmarked, so conversions read zero while enquiries keep arriving.
  • A cookie banner blocking measurement where it need not, quietly losing data.

Measurement and European rules

Analytics in Slovakia is not purely technical. Without consent wired up per Consent Mode v2 you lose data and Google restricts remarketing — and the consent itself has to take the form European rules require. I set up both at once, so neither is sacrificed for the other.

Frequently asked questions

What does an analytics setup cost?

The hourly rate is 25 EUR, and a full setup for an ordinary company site starts around 500 EUR. I quote after a short audit of what you already have.

How long does it take?

Two to five working days for an ordinary site including testing. Longer for a shop with purchase tracking.

How will I know measurement actually works?

I show you the events arriving in the real-time report and we go through what each one means.

Do I need server-side tracking?

Not everyone does. It pays off for larger shops and where ad blockers eat a meaningful share of the data. I will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for you.

Will I lose historical data?

No. The setup does not change what has already been collected, only what is collected from now on.
