Wholesale trade in vanilla, coffee and cacao beans. An online shop built not for a retail shopper but for someone buying by the batch.

Wholesale is a different shop

The difference is not in the design but in how the decision is made.

A retail shopper chooses emotionally and orders on the spot. A wholesale buyer first establishes the facts: origin, harvest, variety, batch size, price by volume, delivery times. They compare, calculate and come back — sometimes a week later.

It follows that the catalogue has to answer questions, not just show photographs. A product without a clear specification does not sell wholesale: there is nothing to compare it against.

What was built

A shop with a catalogue, cart and checkout built around wholesale logic: the product page carries the parameters a buyer decides on, not only a name and a price.

It works fast on a phone — buyers often browse away from their desk.

What it changed

There is now a channel where a buyer can study the range at their own pace without talking to anyone. In wholesale that matters: a first visit almost never becomes an order straight away, and the more someone has worked out alone, the shorter the negotiation afterwards.

Technically

Responsive layout, fast loading, forms with spam protection, analytics measuring completed orders and enquiries, a cookie banner, structured data for products. Domain and hosting registered to the client.

If this sounds familiar

An online shop is worth starting from the question "what does the buyer need to establish before deciding", not "which template shall we use". In wholesale it shows plainly: the clearest catalogue wins, not the prettiest.
